Usage & Billing
xcelera uses a credit-based system. Each audit consumes one credit from your organization's monthly allocation.

Credits
One audit = one credit, regardless of how many Lighthouse runs are performed within that audit.
Credits reset at the start of each billing period (calendar month). Unused credits do not roll over.
Monitoring usage
View your current credit usage from Settings → Usage:
- Usage summary — credits used, remaining, and total for the current period
- Usage history — a chart showing credit consumption across billing periods
- Recent audits — a table of individual audit credit events
When credits run out
If your organization has no remaining credits:
- Scheduled audits are paused until credits reset
- Manual and API-triggered audits return a
429error - You'll receive a notification when your credits are running low
Keep an eye on your usage if you have multiple pages on hourly schedules. A single page on hourly scheduling uses roughly 720 credits per month.
